OLMP Leadership Projects

Lent Flower Fundraiser

At OLMP School we do a Lenten fundraiser annually to help an organization in the community and to remind us of the importance of giving up something for the good of others. This year we are working to earn funds for the new church being built. Our High School Leadership Students are coordinating this year’s fundraising efforts for the new St. Francis Church stained glass windows.

To support our efforts we are asking each student at OLMP School to sell flower filled planters for Mother's Day. All the planters will be an assortment of colours and include petunias, verbena, bacopa, callies, fuchsia, lobelia and dahlias.  Details on prices and purchasing are on the link at the bottom of this page.  Photographs are at the link below.

OLMP Cookbook

Several of our High School Leadership Students have been given the opportunity to participate in the Canada Student Leadership Conference (CSLC) this September in Waterloo, Ontario. CSLC 2017 “StartUp Leadership” will feature a wide variety of keynote speakers, group workshops, cultural moments and entertainment.  High School students selected to attend CSLC are chosen on the basis of their involvement in leadership projects (service projects, school spirit work, and work in the community).

In order to build their leadership skills and raise funds for this opportunity High School Leadership students are working to create a school cookbook that will allow our OLMP Royal family to share special recipes each individual family uses throughout the year to celebrate special occasions and share family time together. To participate submit one or more recipe by filling out the template provided.
